A historic hot springs that soothed the cares of Oichi no Kata
This hot springs, bubbling up at the foot of Odani Castle, is a historic water said to have been frequented by the military commander Nagamasa Azai. After hard-fought battles during Japan’s Warring States period (1467-1568 CE), the waters here were considered a must-visit destination for their restorative properties. (These are the first waters certified by the prefecture as being 100% natural from the source.)
